• A strong Hoosier State is a healthy Hoosier State. As State Senator, Byron will:

  • Support policies that expand access to emergency and critical care for rural communities throughout the district.

  • Expand addiction treatment and recovery resources that give every Hoosier a second chance to reach their full potential.

  • Fight to improve maternal health outcomes and expand access to healthcare providers that serve families, parents, and older Hoosiers.

  • Support increasing Medicaid income eligibility guidelines so working Hoosiers can maintain access to the healthcare coverage they need.

• Utility companies should be held accountable for transparent rate-setting processes and ensure Hoosiers have a clear understanding of proposed increases.

• Expanding reliable broadband access is essential to economic development, education, healthcare access, and connecting Hoosiers to the resources and support they need.

• Oppose unnecessary expansion of toll fees that create additional financial burdens for working families, farmers, and businesses.
